Our Corporate Advisory division provides strategic advice covering a range of transactions including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, takeover defence, restructurings and spin-offs. Corporate Advisory works with our Securities division to provide leading capital raising capabilities in equity, debt and hybrid markets in all global markets. We also directly assist clients to fund acquisitions and provide finance for leveraged- and management-buyouts.

Other services offered to corporate clients include capital management, corporate risk management, foreign exchange, commodities and interest rate products and services.

The Principal Investment Area manages the non-trading principal investment activities of the firm, including private equity, mezzanine finance, real estate and special situation investment opportunities. The team invests the firm’s capital, as well as our clients’ capital, in corporate and real estate investments. By taking a partnership approach the team works actively with the management of the companies we invest in, adding value by bringing strategic, financial and operational expertise to each investment.

Our global network and our close ties with Wellington Management Company, llp provide clients with access to ‘best of breed’ investment products and a large team of highly experienced investment professionals.
